The 2014 Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio is now just one short week away and with the amateur portion of the contest growing every year. Australia will once again have a strong contingency competing.
An unfortunate piece of news has just come through that Roelly Winklaar will supposably not be competing in the 2014 Arnold Classic & Australian Pro Grand Prix in just under 2 weeks time. This is especially disapointing for bodybuilding fans internationally & in Australia as Roelly is in career best form coming off a impressive 7th place finish at the 2013 Mr Olympia.
As if the Pro Qualifier competitors in the 212 Men's Bodybuilding & Bikini classes didn't have enough incentive to win with an IFBB Pro card on the line, they'll also punch their ticket to their second IFBB Pro Show with a free trip to the IFBB New Zealand Pro show the following weekend!

I wouldn't normally write this in an article, but with FItX 2014 "shit just got real", with the addition of 3 Pro Cards to be awarded over 3 new Pro Qualfying categories. This will double last year's amount of pro cards (3), to make a total of 6 pro cards that will be awarded at the FitX Pro Qualifier in March 2014!
The first annual Perth Fitness Show expo has been and now gone and overall it seemed to be a success. Rx Muscle Australia was there to cover the bodybuilding. The show was held on the same weekend as the INBA nationals which were held in Melbourne so the show lost many competitors to that, but this opened opportunities to other competitors, and many rose to the occasion, especially in the fitness and bikini classes!
