What do you feel is the WORST part of contest prep? 

Having to pee every 15 minutes from all the water!! LOL  

 

Would you please tell us a little about your workout schedule.

2 leg workouts a week – 1 heavy, 1 high rep with plyos.

3 hiit sessions 

2 upper body workouts-  focus on back and shoulders. leigh2

 

If you knew what you know today – what would you do differently when you started weight training?

When I started weight training I think I started off right. I either went with my brothers at a younger age or else I hired a personal trainer so I wasn’t lost in the gym.  I had a good understanding about exercises, but having said that, I knew very little about diet and proper nutrition, so this would be something that I would have defiantly focused on more. 

 

 If you had to lose one of your 5 senses, which one would you prefer to lose and why?

TASTE !!!!! sometimes eating the same thing day in and day out gets so boring and after some preps I cant stand the taste of certain foods. If I lost my sense of taste this would probably help to get them in anyways. lol

 

 If you could change one thing about this sport what would it be?  

More Pro Shows in Canada!!...do one in Vancouver, BC!!

 

If you could switch your life with a famous person for one day – who would it be - and why?

Since I just started shooting a reality show called Fitness Wars, I would probably pick someone like Kim Kardashian to see what her everyday life is really like. 

 

What advice do you have for women who would like to get involved in and compete in the sport of bikini??  

Make a commitment, sign up for your first show, learn to train more with weights and not so much cardio, and be disciplined with your diet. Also, find an experienced contest prep coach. 

 

Which IFBB-pro bodybuilder would you take with you to a deserted tropical island to live the rest of your life with? 

None!! He would eat thPictureGroove Leighe only food that was left on the island to survive! LOL, but an IFBB physique guy could be another story ….
