What is your favorite contest prep recipe?I love Oatmeal topped with Almond butter melted on top! And I mean love! Also, I make
pumpkin spice protein egg white muffins with almond butter melted on top for a nice treat! For recipes I post it all on my fan page!

What part of your physique are you currently working on? I’m currently working on every part of my body. I’m trying to keep the overall package
full, yet toned and tight. Aiming for the bikini body the judges want to see. I love to see this look on women because it is a healthy yet attainable look, in my opinion.

Name one piece of nutrition/fitness advice that has stuck with you.
“Once on your lips forever on your hips!” Ha! It’s definitely the truth! Clean eating is not just for competition, for me, it’s a lifestyle. I don’t have an off-season; this is a way of life for me.

If you could compete in one other event (FBB, physique, figure, fitness, bikini) which would it be and why? I really enjoy competing in the bikini division. However, I do respect the amazing physiques women have in both figure and fitness. The time and work they put into it I admire. Bikini is a bit more relaxed then a figure competitor (in regards to leanness and vascularity), but bikini competitors work just as hard to achieve the perfect stage look. I
have so much respect across the board, be it figure, fitness, physique or FBB.

Why NPC: Well when I first started my journey in wanting to compete I started with Kim Oddo back in July 2010. He has taught me everything I know to date, which includes competing in the NPC and IFBB. I have put 100% trust into him with all of this and he would never steer me wrong. I’m not looking back…only forward in this sport. With Kim’s help and under his guidance, I have learned so much. I cannot thank him enough for always being the best coach/trainer/mentor.

What do you like best about competing? Those few moments on stage you get to show all the hard work you have been working for months to achieve. The rush of the lights hitting you as you get to shine your on stage and being able to really show off your personality! I just love it!

What are your goals for the future? I have constant goals! Goals are never ending for me. I feel like I create a new one every week. Right now I’d like to continue to grow as a personal trainer as well as expand on my culinary creations of incorporating new ideas and recipes for competition prep. My goal is to help other competitors experience contest prep eating the right foods, but in new and delicious ways. Again, my Facebook page details some of my recipes and shows some tricks I do with foods to keep competition friendly foods delicious and satisfying.

Competition history:
• San Diego Border States 2010 2nd place
• Sacramento Pro 2010 1st Place
• Jr. Nationals in Chicago 2011 1st place/2nd runner up to overall and earned IFBB
Pro Status
• Phoenix Pro debut 11th place 2011
• Tijuana Pro 2011 5th Place

Next competition: TBA!

Hobbies: My most favorite hobby is cooking. I love to cook and bake healthy meals for competition friendly dieting. I also love to wake board and visit Disneyland. Disneyland is definitely a fun hobby for me.

JrnatsWhat is the biggest lesson you have learned over the years when it comes to competing? Rest! Rest! Rest! If your body is telling you to rest, do it! There are days when you’re body will tell you it needs a break. Recognize those days, and allow your body to recover. Your Body will thank you!

What is your favorite contest prep supplement? I’d have to say Myofusion by Gaspari Nutrition. I love their Chocolate and Banana
Perfection flavors! Thanks to my bestie/sis Danitza Freigher (who also is an NPC Figure Competitor) she introduced to this heaven of a molten brownie (made with Myofusion protein) she came up with that is to die for! Her and I will talk for hours about our recipes! It’s definitely a passion we share! http://www.danitzadenn.com/recipes/sweettreats.html
