No doubt, everyone has heard that the first show of the 2011 season is the inaugural IFBB Flex Pro Show on February 19th.
Here is a quote from the FLEX website:
"Already we've received commitments from the who's who of the sport-- 2008 Mr. Olympia Dexter Jackson, Dennis Wolf, Evan Centopani, Fouad Abiad, Ben Pakulski, Ben White and more are just some of the names who will compete at the FLEX Pro!"
You're very own Yuckmouth Yenta will be attending this show. I have to admit, I've been very excited for the contest season to get underway; more competition means more gossip for you, my loyal readers. I'm also curious to see what Robin Chang and the boys at Weider/AMI have in store for us at this brand new event!

Now, on to the gossip... I've been hearing rumors for the past week that Dennis Wolf has decided to opt out of the Flex Pro Show and focus all of his energy into the Arnold Classic. This would be somewhat of a disappointment for the Flex Show since many people were anticipating the Dennis Wolf- Dexter Jackson showdown. Other Weider/AMI athletes, Phil and Kai, are not in the show and Branch Warren and Victor Martinez will both be focusing all their energies on the Arnold. So, with no Dennis Wolf, the line-up would certainly lose some of it's appeal.
Here comes the news... I confirmed today with two individuals that are definitely in-the-know, Dennis Wolf is NOT doing the Flex Pro Show. You can scratch him off the competitor list. There is no doubt; this is news, not gossip.
On a positive note, this makes the Flex Show even more exciting in some ways. Can Centopani beat Dexter Jackson and become a front runner for the Arnold title? Can Ben White accomplish his goal and finally take revenge on Centopani for beating him twice (once as a amateur in the 2006 Jr. National and once as a pro at the 2009 NY Pro)? Can Fouad Abiad make his comeback to the stage a success and qualify for the Olympia in the very first show of 2011? Can Ben "Pacman" Pakulski prove he is the best Canadian bodybuilder in the world? We will find out February 19th at the Santa Monica Civic Center Auditorium! Don't miss all of our coverage here on RxMuscle.com!!!!
