It is my wish to not only have wonderful gifts bestowed upon me by my millions of followers from around the world... but to give back in this time of uncertainty in the fitness culture. When Planet Fitness emerged on the scene as the ani-christ for true fitness enthusiasts, one very common theme emerged from their marketing - No Judgement Zones. Free of people who might make you feel uncomfortable, Planet Fitness has essentially ensured through a series of ad campaigns and in house tattle tale devices, that people like you and I are not welcome in their facilities. They have made it clear it is a maven for fatties to eat gym provided pizza, tootsie rolls and bagels. No Judgement... unless you are a bodybuilder, powerlifter, strongman or someone who looks like they lift heavy things for fun.
Planet Fitness chains around the country are without a doubt bereft of the single most important piece of equipment for your average or professional heavy item picker upper; the deadlift platform.
So in this spirit of giving, I wish that someone, somewhere gives Planet Fitness franchises the Rogue Fitness Deadlift Platform for X-Mas. From the Rogue Fitness website:
Speed work is an essential component of any strength program. The Rogue Deadlift Platform safely allows for band use outside of a power rack. The band pegs are extra long to work with longer specialty barbells in addition to standard barbells.
The Rogue Deadlift Platform ships with 2 Floor Plates and does not need bolted to the ground.
The Rogue Econ Deadlift Platform must be bolted to the ground.
There are several flooring options for this platorm:
Rubber tiles. An 8 Pack of 24x24x1.5" Rubber Tiles is available with this product.
A combination of plywood and stall mats. Lay 1 full sheet of 3/4" plywood down as the base. Cut two 2' wide strips of stall mat and one 4x4' piece of 3/4" plywood to be used as a top layer.
Do not use any flooring.

Please, give to those less fortunate than ourselves. Give the gift of deadlifting to a needy lemming at a Planet Fitness near you.
