The city that never sleeps will play host to the biggest event in strongman.
With less then 72 hours until the kick-off of the 2012 American Strongman season the
folks at ASC seemingly never sleep as they announced today the site of the 2012
Americaʼs Strongest Man®. “We are very proud to announce that the location for ASM
2012 is New York City,” said ASC President Dione Wessels, “This our biggest event of
the year, and the timing and location will guarantee that this will be the best strongman
show of the year!”
Americaʼs Strongest Man® will be contested in New York City on the famed Pier 17 at
the South Street Seaport in Downtown Manhattan. The contest will be held on Saturday
and Sunday July 21st and 22nd. “The July date and the amazing location will ensure
that every big name in American Strongman will be there to vie for the coveted title,”
commented ASC VP Mike Johnston, “No excuses this year! Just the biggest city, the
biggest show, the best fans and the best athletes on the planet!”
