What is your favorite contest prep recipe?
Contest prep stays pretty simple but I have to say I am a big fan of protein pancakes. I take my quick oats, egg whites, protein powder, a few of my powdered supplements, cinnamon, and a little water [sometimes I get lucky and can add sugar free almond milk]. Mix them until batter consistency and pour on griddle on medium-high coated pan. They tend to cook just like real pancakes; when they start to bubble on top-flip. As a treat, I sometimes use a sugar free preservative or jam and heat until a liquid in the microwave-instant syrup!
What part of your physique are you currently working on?
Currently, my program is specialized for my legs, glutes and hams. I’ve struggled to grow my lower in the past, so I train them twice per week. I do a lot of dead lifts, squats, curls, and extensions and I go heavy!
Name one piece of nutrition/fitness advice that has stuck with you.
This is a subjective sport. You never know who will be on stage with you. All you can ever do is bring YOUR best package and give it 110%. Whether you get a trophy or not, if you give it your best then it’s always a win.
Name two of the most inspirational people in your life and tell why they inspire you.
Chris Williamson- no matter the odds or what other people say; he keeps going. He is ambitious and has a kind heart helping kids with autism and donating his time to the homeless whenever he can. He is very educated and well rounded having been a bodybuilder first and now an IFBB Pro Men's Physique. He is constantly changing the lives around him-so admirable!
Kim Ford- She is the kind of woman I want to be. She is so in tune with who she is all while juggling a successful career, family, and friends. She is loyal, honest, and is always willing to learn whether about herself or others. I have never met a stronger more beautiful woman than she.
Why NPC:
There are a lot of different shows and branches out there, but overall I like the look of the NPC. I like how the shows are run and what they do to help their athletes. The community of athletes are usually so support and motivational.
What do you like best about competing?
The team comradery and meeting new friends all across the nation. There is nothing better than having a constant support system and getting to go all over the nation together.
What are your goals for the future?
I will be competing at the NPC Junior Nationals in June as well as the USA Championship in July while actively pursuing sponsorships. All I ever want is to improve more than last time and bring my best package. . .if I get my Pro Card well that is just a perk!

Hobbies:
Couture and competition suit designer, the arts[museums, plays, opera, concerts], enjoy going to the movies and spending time with friends & family, reading thought provoking books, cooking, just about anything outdoors, and of course training.
What is the biggest lesson you have learned over the years when it comes to competing?
Being a woman, I think most of us can’t help but compare ourselves; but at the end of the day, our only competition is the one we see in the mirror.
What is your favorite contest prep supplement?
Allmax Aminocore Fruit Punch stacked with their glutamine. Sugar Free, great flavors, and really feel like it has helped with my recovery and training. I go hard & heavy and needed something that could keep up with me!
In closing, who would you like to give a shot out to?
To God and His many blessings.
To my family & friends for their constant love & support.
To my gym family at gym303.com for their motivation and push. They pull me out of my darkness. To my team, Miss Fits & Mayhem, Karl, Erica, Jesse, Ashley, Cortney, Matt, Jen A. Nira, Brian [and anyone I may have missed]; Love you guys!!!! Without them I would have never gotten on stage. Lastly, my dear friend, my home, and coach, Chris Williamson who over the years has helped me be a better person all around. Who pushes me in and outside the gym. He won't let me give up!!!
