The Precision Peptides Bros vs Pros 8, Squat 'til You Drop will undoubtedly be the biggest IFBB Pro representation yet. With more than 20 IFBB and NPC competitors either competing or spectating, you will be hard pressed to find another event with this much fanfare! However escaping the scorching “Land of the Sun” this weekend is more than just Bros vs Pros....
Starting the festivities on Friday night, Jack Titone of Hydrolyze Ultra hosts the Hooters on Mill Ave Wing Eating Challenge. Arrive early as only the first 10 people to show up can take on IFBB Pro Mike Van Wyck, Species Nutrition CFO and eating champion Joel Goldberg and Hydrolyze Ultra's Jack Titone.... get the chance at a nice cash prize if and only if they can eat 30 hot wings in the fastest time from Hooters.
Melanie Gulmetti, Hooters Phoenix area director is excited to have this familiar event at their facility and promises to have the “most qualified” Hooters
girls servicing our tables! Species own Joel Goldberg tells me “...as a former eating champion, I am primed and ready. I am in the best “eating shape” of my life and I will emerge victorious”. However, if there is anyone able to mano y mano Joel, it's Jack Titone. “I entered the BvP 7 pancake eating contest at the last minute and had eaten a full meal just an hour prior, but nearly won the entire event! I am unstoppable.”
Saturday is the impetus for the weekend. IFBB Pro Stryker Solomon and Stryker X Productions presents the IFBB Phoenix Pro Show at the Mesa Performing Arts Theater. Doors open at 9:00am, prejudging at 10:00am and the finals will kick off at 6:00pm. Vendors, giveaways and athlete appearances abound during the day. I will be at the Precision Peptides booth most of the day saturday. stop by and say hello. Apparently people liked my social commentary in my play by play at the Europa Super Show, so I have been asked to do it for the night show. The weekend wraps up with Bros vs Pros 8, Squat til You Drop at Metroflex Gym, 170th and Holmes Road in Glendale. There will be as many IFBB pros at this event as there will be on stage tomorrow. Come down and have a chance to meet and greet some of the coolest people in the business. If you have the balls, give our two events a
