What a start it’s been for Rx Muscle Australia and the 2013 bodybuilding season. It all kicked off with the 2013 FitX Sports & Fitness Expo which included the 2013 IFBB Australian Pro & 2013 IFBB Amateur GP/Pro Qualifier.  The Pro Qualifier was heavily anticipated and it certainly lived up to the hype. It was dubbed by many as a battle between the big 3 "Scott Goble, Luke Schembri & Gary Wright", but no one counted on David Cutler challenging. If it wasn't for an all-time best Luke Schembri he’d now be an IFBB Pro.

On the women’s side of things in the Figure Pro Qualifier it was great to see a friend of Rx Muscle Australia and the girl who was on the first ever episode of Aussie Muscle Radio in Asher Prior, she happily accepted her IFBB Pro card and competed in the pro league just a few short hours later. Asher’s win wasn't without a challenge from a very impressive Silvia Kovacsova who came in with a very pleasing look with nice round muscle bellies. Silvia seems to be next in line for a figure pro card in Australia, and I think she has a look that could do serious damage in the pro ranks.

It was my distinct pleasure and extremely exciting to bring out Dave Palumbo and Aaron Singerman from America with the help of Bulk Nutrients and NDA. 

The first stop on Dave and Aaron’s tour was in the state I have spent most of my life in up until only a few months back, and that’s Tasmania. Something I found extremely funny was when Dave left a book on the plane which led to Dave and Aaron to start fighting like a married couple about whether the book was import to get back off the plane. Dave and Aaron stayed with me in my old house after doing a tour of the Bulk Nutrients Factory & doing a seminar at one of the most hardcore gyms in Australia, in Slaughterhouse gym which is owned by World Champion Power lifter Wayne Howlett and his brother Shaun. 

From Tassie we went to Melbourne for FitX and the Australian Pro Grand Prix where I learnt a huge amount from both Dave and Aaron regarding building a better more successful Rx Muscle Australia and we did a lot of work with myself and my girlfriend Holly having a few 4am mornings bringing the shows coverage to you (the fans).
