IFBB Pro Amanda Doherty Comeback?

Before the figure class was introduced into the IFBB Amanda Doherty was competing in the fitness division in the IFBB Pro ranks. Many will know Amanda's well known husband, contest promoter and gym owner Tony Doherty who I'm sure will be backing his wife 100% as she preps for her first show in 8 years!

We got in contact with Amanda once we heard the news and got all the info directly from her, and here's what she had to say...

"I have always planned, to return to the stage one day. So about 14 weeks ago I was looking for a little direction with my training & started dieting for a photo shoot. Got in great shape & realized it was now or never to finish what I started eight years ago!

So after 4 children, oldest 10 and youngest 3 years. I found myself ready to jump back on stage again. This time I've decided to try my hand at IFBB Pro Figure instead of IFBB Pro Fitness.

Prepping for this comp so far has been great! I've never had a problem sticking to my diet or training program.

Sure its a bit more difficult with 4 children, But nothing is impossible!

I hope to inspire others to never let go of there dreams and passions, because there is one life..... make the most of it TODAY!"
