Stephanie Willes Walks Into The Pro Ranks: On A Roll
Hello everyone! Sorry I haven’t posted lately but with traveling to Tampa last Thursday for my Pro Debut and back home Sunday., I had to wash everything, pack again, go grocery shopping and prep all my food and I head out Thursday to Dallas for the Europa.
My experience for my debut as an IFBB Pro was amazing. It is hard to come from so many wins and great placing’s at the National level to not even placing at my first pro show, but how can I be upset when I’m truly living a dream of being a pro? Well of course I want to win, I’m competitive by nature. I am humbled by the experience of being on that stage with so many elite athletes; to know I am also one is an incredible feeling. I know there are so many women out there still trying to obtain what I have accomplished so I most definitely am living my dream and won’t complain because I feel like every time I step on stage I get better. I get more confident and I bring myself in with a better look every time. Although, I realize that the pros are quite a bit bigger and harder than at the amateur level. The experience gives me inspiration to keep getting better and go from Rookie pro to a top contender to qualify for the Olympia one day. I look forward to this new journey as a Women’s Physique Pro. This sport has so many great things about it. One, there is always room for improvement and development of your physique, your diet, and your mental strength. Two, the people in this business are incredible! Just about every woman I talked to during the show rather it be back stage, in the lobby or sitting in the audience were encouraging, kind, helpful and supportive. I almost forgot I was at a competition for a while. LOL :) So on Thursday morning bright and early I will be off to Dallas for the Europa were just about half the ladies that were at Tampa will be there trying to earn points to qualify for the first ever Ms. Physique Olympia! How exciting is that!? The goal for me is to at least place this time. I ate up and hope to come in a bit fuller this time, but with the same conditioning and tightness as Tampa. You never know about what can happen, so I just need to bring the best me that I can bring and be happy with that. This field of ladies is competitive, everyone looks fantastic and deserves to win so really all anyone can do is to bring their personal best, and that is exactly what I will do. Wish me luck!!! I can’t wait to share this experience with you all when I return.
Lift Hard and Heavy!!!
