Hello Rx Girls!
This past month has been spectacular! It’s been really busy with a bunch of new and exciting thingsbut mostly just a lot of FUN!I LOVE Summer time!! ;)
I did a Mud run with my long time friends and the best part was that there was a costume contest too. You know me, any excuse to dress up, wear glitter, and run around. Lol Oh, we had too much fun. We dressed up as rockers and we would walk around saying “We’re gonna rock, ROCK!” Hahaha We went all out with wigs, sunglasses, and legwarmers. We had such a blast! As for the mud run obstacle course the best part was the 500ft water slide and the mud maze. The water slide was awesome and you really picked up some speed. The only thing about the slide that sucked was the pool at the end gave my nose an enema. Blaaaaahahahah. I was blowing my nose for a week. As for the mud maze aka spa day, it was about waist deep (I am quite short so it was even more fun) and the bottom of the maze had holes dug into it so that you would fall deeper into the mud. It was awesome! However, I didn’t realize that my leg warmers would turn into ankle weights once they got wet. Lol, Next time I may have to leave the leg warmers at home. ;)
My husband and I also went to Las Vegas for his birthday and we saw Pitbull and Ke$ha in Concert. It was a great show and even the group that opened for them were good. I have to say Pitbull was the highlight of the show with all of the lighting and stage effects. Lil’ John even came out and performed with Pitbull on one of the songs he collaborated on. It was awesome! At the end there were pirotectics that went off, along with a down poor of blue confetti all over the whole arena. In all the excitement someone did spill his or her drink all down my back. Lol. Well that’s Vegas for you. I figured I just smelt like the rest of the thousands of people. Either way, we had a blast and danced the night away.:)
The following day my husband and I were also able to see the preview showing ofMichael Jackson “One” by Cirque Du Soleil. They haven’t officially opened to the public with the show and I felt like they were still working some kinks out. Well, I guess that is what a preview practice run is all about ;) I really wish I could say it was good, but honestly it really left something to be desired. I have seen most of the CirqueDu Soleil shows and this one sadly lands at the bottom of the list. But then again it could have been because it was there second live showing. I still prefer Zumanity that is performed at the New York New York Hotel. However, I think our next Cirque show will be Le Reve at the Wynn. I am beginning to like the Wynn more and more.
Until next time Rx Girls enjoy your Summer and LIVE-IT-UP!
Much Love,
