The 4th of this month marked yet another milestone in the Men's Physique division. Another competitor, Mark Anthony Wingson, has solidified his spot on The Olympia stage for 2013. The Top 5 at the show were:
1. Mark Anthony Wingson
2. Jason Poston
3. Michael Anderson
4. Sadik Hadzovic
5. Mathew Acton
A total of 20 Men's Physique Pro's took the stage in Pittsburgh. As mentioned before, Mark Anthony Wingson took home first place and is now qualified for Olympia. Michael Anderson, who ended up in the third spot, would have earned points towards the big show for his 3rd place finish, but is already qualified as a result of his win at the Europa. Poston, Hadzovic and Acton are all now further along in the points race to make it onto the stage in Vegas.
Overall the field was stacked from top to bottom. We are now really beginning to see the quality of athletes of which the IFBB MP division is comprised.
Make sure you check back in for the next chance for the IFBB Pro's to qualify for "The O" next week in Detroit. Many of the top names will be there putting their best foot forward looking to join those already qualified for The Olympia. The race is on!
