Meet one of the youngest MP Competitors around Alan McKearney. Congrats on a great showing and your awesome weight loss! What made you decide to compete in the Men’s Physique Division?
I enjoy the Men’s Physique division because it enables me to push my body to its natural limits, and still be able to compete at my age.
Can you tell us a little about the show in which you just competed?
The competition I just competed in was my first. It was the Sandra Wickham Fall Classic, held every fall in New Westminster, B.C. This year was actually the largest show in B.C. history with 301 competitors.
How did you feel after pre-judging?
After pre-judging I felt very relieved, because I was very nervous and anxious about going on during pre-judging and was actually trembling. After pre-judging I realized that it was much easier.
How did you feel about the final results of the show?
I felt okay about the final results of the show, I had not done as well as I had hoped that I would do, but I now know what to work on for my next show. I hope to come in a bit bigger next time.
What are your thoughts on the Men's Physique Division and what it may be able to do for your career?
I actually believe that the Men’s Physique Division is a great addition to the range of Aesthetics Sports that already exist, I mean women have 5 divisions to compete in, so men should have options as well.
