Joining us today is National level MP Competitor Frank Fata. Congrats on a great appearance at Team U! So how did you find your way into the Men’s Physique Division?
I decided to compete in Men's Physique division because my body is just not built to be as big as a bodybuilder. I've alwas had the six pack ABS beach body. When I first saw men's physique division come out a couple of years ago, I knew I had to jump on board.
Can you tell us a little about the Competition in which you just competed?
I just competing in the Team Universe competition. It's a pretty big show and takes place over the course of 2 days. Prejudging one day and finals the next. There was a lot of completion there, especially in men's physique division.
How did you feel after pre-judging?
I felt that I had to step my game up for my next National show. I came in more lean and ripped but the judges were looking for bigger guys this time around. So I didn't place that well.
How did you feel about the final results of the show?
I thought there was a couple of guys in each division that didn't deserve top 5 positions. There was guys with better definition than them and they didn't even place. Including myself lol
What are your thoughts on the Men's Physique Division and what it may be able to do for your career?
I think the men's physique division is great. There is a lot more opportunities to get sponsored weather you're pro or not. If you have a good look and physique your most likely going to get signed with a company. This is what's better about this division verses bodybuilding. I believe it's going to over power bodybuilding. Its almost there already.
