Josh Bryan – Always Hungry, Never Satisfied!
With us today is Josh Bryan, a 19-year-old NPC Men’s Physique competitor from Union, Ohio who currently resides in West Milton. Congrats Josh on a great showing! What made you decide to compete in the Men's Physique Division?
I have always been told by my peers that I have "The Look" that people are looking for in this division, so I found a show and gave it my best shot. Now I am addicted and can't wait to step on stage again.
Can you tell us a little about the show in which you most recently competed?
The most recent show I competed in was Kentucky Muscle. It was an amazing show and was put on by some amazing people. My competition was stacked, everyone brought their A game and I was going to be thankful for whatever place I was given.
How did you feel after pre-judging?
After pre-judging I was nervous because going on stage I felt that I carbed up too much back stage and was feeling very bloated. But being in the second call outs made me extremely excited and I couldn't wait to see how I placed at finals.
How did you feel about the final results of the show?
I felt great about the final result of the show. Like I said previously all my competition brought their A game and I was going to be grateful for whatever place I earned that day. I waited for the end of the show to speak with the judges and they told me what I needed to improve and that helped keep me extremely focused and motivated to know exactly what I needed to do to come back at my absolute best.
What are your thoughts on the Men's Physique Division and what it may be able to do for your career?
I love the MPD, I feel that it is a much more appealing look for people and starting to take over the fitness industry. I believe that the division will really help me take off in the fitness model world by getting my face in front of the right people.
