It is with great pleasure that Fitness Management Group announces the signing of 8-Time IFBB Professional League Bikini Overall Champion AMANDA LATONA!
There really isn’t a lot we can say about Amanda Latona that most of you don’t already know especially with her status in the industry and all the fitness magazine covers she has graced, from FLEX Magazine, Muscle & Fitness Hers and many others. She broke through the NPC Bikini division by winning her class at the 2009 NPC California State Bikini Championships and followed that up by winning the NPC Los Angeles Bikini Championships and qualified for the IFBB Professional League by winning her class in the 2009 NPC USA Bikini Championships. The most recent of her IFBB Professional League victories was the 2013 Greater Gulf States Pro Bikini.
With Amanda being born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, it’s a perfect fit as The ‘Burgh is not only home to FMG but the NPC and IFBB Professional League too! Actually discussions for Amanda to sign with FMG date back to 2010 but they say timing is everything. As Amanda stated; “The IFBB/NPC has opened doors and opportunities to allow me to not only fulfill dreams, but inspire and touch people’s lives throughout the world. Competing is not something I just do, but rather it has been my lifestyle since I was 18 years old. I live this, breath this and have supported this organization for many more years before I ever hit the scene. I have had much success on my own and am extremely grateful for the doors that have been opened. Because of my success, I have so many offers and opportunities coming to me that I simply cannot handle on my own. I have been needing direction, guidance and someone in my corner, acting for me and representing me on my behalf. I'm a business woman and it’s just bad business to be talking and negotiating on your own. That being said, I have been needing a manager. J.M. Manion has been more of a manager without officially being my manager than anyone I've met over the years. He's helped, guided and advised me just because of our great personal relationship. I felt strongly that it was time to make it now a business relationship as well. I am extremely excited to officially be a part of the TEAM that has acted as my FAMILY for so many years. I am looking forward to the future and representing the IFBB Bikini division as an ambassador of the sport. I am looking forward to helping the division continue to grow, excited to have my career grow even further and am grateful for the success that the IFBB has allowed me to achieve. FMG represents the best athletes, and I have always wanted to be represented by the best, with the best.”
FMG also has a great relationship with supplement company BSN that Amanda is currently signed with which will make the transition very smooth. You can find Amanda at the BSN booth during the 2013 Joe Weider’s Olympia Expo. Most importantly you will see Amanda competing in the 2013 IFBB Bikini Olympia!
One last thing, Amanda Latona has committed to competing in the IFBB Pittsburgh Pro Bikini for the very first time in 2014!
