COLUMBUS, OH – FEBRURARY 28, 2014 After-School All-Stars Ohio (ASAS Ohio) hosts Annual Evening of Stars Gala at the Hilton Columbus Downtown from 5:15pm-9:00pm.
The 2014 Evening of Stars is going to be a night to remember. An expected 400 guests will be in attendance during one of the busiest weekends for Columbus, the Arnold Sports Festival. ASAS Ohio will be honoring our community partners this year for their dedication and support of the program. Francious McGillicuddy from Fox Sports Ohio & SportsTime Ohio will be presented with the Life, Service, Action award and Nick Akins from American Electric Power will be presented with the C.E.O award. Speakers for the night include: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Will Allen from the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dr. Steve Allen of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and Co-Executive Directors of After-School All-Stars Ohio, Sienna Daniel and Aslyne Rodriguez.
The International Sports Hall of Fame has named it's inductees for 2014. The International Sports Hall of Fame is a 501(c) Non Profit foundation established to honor the world’s greatest athlete legends in all sports. This is a global organization that believes recognition of these remarkable sports people should endure and be recognized long after their careers have ended. Just as important is what Hall of Fame candidates do later in life, in giving back to others and society, with charity work, and mentoring young people.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Shawn Rhoden, Victor Martinez and Brandon Curry, who have each won an Arnold Classic international title in the past three years, lead a deep field of 13 men’s professional bodybuilders who will battle in the 2014 Arnold Classic, the Arnold Sports Festival announced today.
The Arnold Sports Festival and the IFBB Pro League today announced the invited athletes who will compete in the Arnold Classic, Arnold Classic 212, Fitness International, Figure International and Bikini International contests Feb. 28 & March 1 at the 2014 Arnold Sports Festival.
