Incredible Journey!

incredibles

Meet bodybuilding's "Incredibles" - Andy Haman, his wife of 26 years Michele, their 3 daughters Daisy, Ruby and Lucy, and their son, Sam, all sprayed by Jan Tana to look like the animated film stars, The Incredibles.  Andy truly defines hardcore.  He started life as a wrestler beginning in high school where he graduated with a record of 210-0-10.  Then he went to the University of Iowa to wrestle for the Iowa Hawkeyes. While at UI Andy became a National freestyle champion, Olympic sport Festival Champion, and World runner-up in wrestling as a Varsity team member of 4 National Championship Wrestling Teams Coached by the infamous Dan Gable.  Andy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a Health and Art minor. He went on to become a teacher and he taught in the public school system and coached wrestling and football with numerous League and State Champions during his 14-year career.  He then retired from teaching to pursue his dream of becoming a pro bodybuilder. After only a year and half of training 5 hours per day (raw benching 615 for a double!), Andy won the Super Heavyweight class and overall at the 2007 NPC Masters Nationals and earned an IFBB pro card. Andy's living a dream that started in an average Iowa town, in an average Iowa basement.  Just look at him now!

Does Kevin Look Pissed?

kevin Not by this picture! In fact, Dave and I confronted Kevin about the idea that he might possibly be mad at us and he dismissed it in a second: "Come on; I love you guys!" Just to refresh your memory.... the first day we opened the RX Muscle website, a thread appeared in the celebrity Q&A section that was supposedly penned by Kevin Levrone. Later in the day it was brought to our attention that the thread was posted by an imposter (probably someone from MD). Kevin was upset over it, and we promptly removed it. Subsequently, a thread appeared on our main board indicating that Kevin was "pissed."

Mark Henry Calls Out Ryan Kennelly!

markhenryWWE Superstar and world champion Strongman Mark Henry is pissed. If you take a good look at this behemoth and his feats of strength, you'll soon realize that making this guy mad is a really bad idea. However, in this particular case, the guy he's steaming mad at can benchpress close to 1,100 pounds. Clearly, the war these two could wage would be a fierce one. But would it actually happen?
"I will beat his ass!" Mark Henry said with conviction of a man incensed. He then proceeded to give Kennelly directions to his house. "But I'm not just going to beat his ass... it's going to go a lot further than that." Yikes! What does Ryan say about this? After having him on our radio show a couple of times I can only imagine. But, far be it from me to put words in his mouth. You'll have to stay tuned. This beef is not dying......

Ziville and Hendershot Reign Supreme!

The Fitness show was won by Ms. Fitness Olympia Jen Hendershot.  Jen announced her retirement last year, then changed her mind and decided to do the Fitness Olympia anyway.  She won and then headed straight for the Ms Fitness International where her incredible conditioning and absolutely stunning routine pushed her into the winner's circle yet again.  Jen's routines are always at the top of the list, but this year she raised the bar, yet again, and wowed the crowed with a truly entertaining routine. She's definitely a competitor who audiences love to see win and the noise they make for her when she does is extremely uplifting. Julie Palmer finised in second place,  and Tracey Greenwood who was the 1st runner-up at the 2008 Ms Fitness Olympia(this past September) took third.

The Figure Olympia was won by our good friend Ziville Raudoniene.  Ziville  beat last year's Ms Figure International winner Gina Alioti, who most recently defeated Ziville (3rd) at the Olympia.  But Ziville turned the tables on Gina tonight with perhaps her most polished presentation to date.  Ziville is not only a clear cut specimen of human perfection, but the girl is also drop-dead gorgeous.  She's the perfect representative for the sport of Figure and she's just as sweet as they come to boot.  All in all, the winners of this year's women's contests have really brought their respective sports to new highs.  Congratulations ladies!
