I'm in the home stretch now. Anybody who knows about dieting, or should I say ‘dieting correctly', knows that during the last few weeks days become nights, and nights become days. And time is obsolete. I'm still training with ultra-heavy weights which amaze most people. They think that as you get leaner, you get weaker, but that's just not the case with my body
My name is Oto Livingston and I'm both a fan of bodybuiding as well as an avid bodybuilder myself. I'd like to give you what I call the "European Perspective" on what I believe will be one of the most anticipated events of 2011.
The IFBB season is upon us and what better way to start off the year than a show in the Mecca of Bodybuilding-Venice, CA. The Flex Pro will be taking place on the 19th of February at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, California. Right off the bat, this show will be a hodgepodge of all types-- seasoned veterans, upcoming stars and rookies pro-- all throwing their hat into this contest for the chance to be crowned the first ever IFBB Flex Pro Champion.
January 23, 2011. By now, most of you have heard that 96-year old Jack LaLanne died at his Morro Bay, California home of respiratory failure (due to pneumonia). But rather than dwell on his death; let's reflect on the life he led, without which there would be no fitness revolution in this country today.
Jack LaLanne was the first guy I ever witnessed doing jumping jacks; or any exercise for that matter. I remember as a kid trying to emulate all the exercises that he performed on his TV show-- the longest running exercise program in television history (1950s to 1970s).
This is the first journal entry in my Rx Muscle Journey to the 2011 Flex Pro, so let me start by saying that even though I'm getting ready for the biggest show of my life, I still take time out to support the two youngest members of TEAM WHITE. So it was a great pleasure for me to watch them demolish the competition in their last grappling competition. Not only did they win, but they both won the "belts"! You see, I'm not the only guy with a championship belt! My dedication to supporting the youth of this country has never wavered; not for a single moment. I will continue to show kids that working out and eating healthy is the path to a successful future.
It was the shot heard round the bodybuilding world-- Dennis Wolf planned on skipping the FLEX Pro on January 9th in Santa Monica, CA. Rx Muscle broke that story to the feverish bodybuilding fans throughout the world. However, it wasn't good news for all the rabid readers of the article who were anticipating the Dennis Wolf-Dexter Jackson-Evan Centopani battle that had be talked about and debated for the last several weeks on every major bodybuilding website.
