Q: Tell me about your competitive history.

A: 2012 NPC Duel of Champions (1st in class)
2013 NPC Duel of Champions (0verall win)
2013 Nationals (Pro card earned)
2014 Chicago Pro (11th place)
2014 Tampa Pro (10th place)
2014 Phoenix Europa (2nd place)

Q: When did you get started on your fitness career/journey? What made you want to become more than just the average person living a healthy and fit lifestyle?

A: I got started with my career in March of 2012. I chose to compete and pursue my dreams because I fell in love with the sport and the outrageous dedication. Competing has given me a different type of lifestyle, which I find very pleasing. Everyday is something new and you have the ability to change many lives.

Q: What is some advice that you would offer someone wanting to increase their popularity in the Fitness industry? What tip can you give someone to help them build their following?

A: Be very consistent with your posts and write things you feel in your heart whether it would be about training or competing. Inspire others, and most importantly use hash tags.

Q: Do you consider this as your part/image2full time job or a hobby?

A: I consider competing as a full time job but however, it's also a lifestyle I have fallen in love with. If I am not getting ready for a show I am helping others reach their goals in everyday life or for those preparing for a show. It is also very important during offseason for me to set goals and achieve them to better myself in the sport.

Q: There are many people that motivate and are inspired by you. How does that make you feel knowing that there are people who take the time to see what you are doing day to day?

A: It's a blessing! When I get random messages from people saying how excited they are for me and for all I have achieved it brings tears to my eyes. It's a very rewarding feeling especially after all the hard work.

Q: How does it feel knowing that somewhere, you are actually helping someone by motivating them to achieve their personal goals?

A: There are no words to describe the feeling in my heart. Its important to be able to reach out to others and it is also very motivating for me. It encourages me to show them that they can also do the same if they set their mind and heart to it.

Q: Is there anyone who has motivated or inspired you to become the person you are today?
A: My mother and father have been such great examples for me to follow. They taught me to work hard, to love and to never quit.
Since I have started my fitness career I have to say that my coach Terrance has been my biggest influence and inspiration. He is a great teacher and mentor both in the gym and in life.

Q: How dimage3oes your family feel about your lifestyle? What would you say to someone whose family does not support their lifestyle?

A: My parents are very supportive and I feel blessed for that. It's a tough sport in general but it has a huge impact on family and support is key. However, for those who may not have support from their family I still think it's important to follow your dreams and enjoy doing what matters the most to you. Sometimes it may take time for family to warm up because it is definitely a very unique sport.

Q: Of all the social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), what do you think is the most effective to use in order to market yourself in this industry?

A: I believe Instagram is the most effective because of hash tags. It allows people with the same interests to get in connect with one other.

Q: What is your diet like? Do you eat clean all year round?
A: Yes, I chose to eat clean all year round because to me it's a lifestyle.

Q: What is your favorite cheat meal? How do you control yourself from going overboard when you decide to treat yourself?

A: My favorite cheat meal would have to be a lean buffalo burger (no bun of course....) with some roaster potatoes and most importantly some chocolate cheesecake!

Q: Do you take any supplements? What do you think is one of the most important supplements someone should take who is training constantly?

A: Multivitamins, BCAAs and Glutamine are most important to me. It is very imsgdsaportant to take all your vitamins each day and be consistent with it. I notice if I miss a couple of days of my vitamin C I start to feel ill.

Q: Special thanks to:

A: I want to thank my family, for believing in me, especially during the hard times. They always stood by my side no matter what, during the good and bad. I also want to thank my brother Marko Ivusic for getting me into competing and doing our first show together. I am very blessed to have him in my life and hope that very soon we can step on the PRO stage together. Also huge thanks to my coach Eric Dilauro for stepping forward and signing me as his athlete. He has changed me tremendously and continues to do so. Also I want to thank my sponsors, Tainted Industries and ASCORPINC. They both have been such great support and motivation for me. ASCORPINC has made it possible for me to continue competing and training at the MECCA.
