Hphoto2 (2)ey Everyone!!! So this week I experienced some major exhaustion. Who knows why… It could have been the drastic change in diet, the overload at work, the stress of not having enough hours in the day, being tight on funds, family situations, or just the fact that rain was in the forecast, but none the less I was just damn tired..LOL


I NEVER let exhaustion get the best of me! I just can’t. I do not like the feeling of defeat and exhaustion is just not one of those things I will let win. Now, if my body is over trained that is a different story, but that’s not what this was.


Three days this past week I ached to get to the gym. My brain was telling me…. WAKE UP, GO TO THE GYM, LUNCH BREAK, GO TO THE GYM, TEN MINUTES LEFT AT WORK AND GET YOUR ASS TO THE GYM! And every day when I got to the gym I struggled to get in my groove, but this is how I did it.


1st: I get my mind right and, get my butt to the gym. I know that if I can get there, then I will get my workouts in!


2nd I always have my pre-workout supplement that helps me go that extra mile or get in that extra rep needed. My choice is Super Pump Max, but there are many more to choose from.


3rd and favorite: I always wear BRIGHT COLORS on these days. My closet it full of a lot of black, but I also have some VIBRANT COLORS!! Bright colors make me happy and stand out a little more too. Which makes my mind say (Heck if I’m bright then someone is looking at photo (2)me and watching me workout… I better be getting after it 100%). HAHA..... it’s the truth!


4th I never leave the house without my workout essentials: clothes, shoes, deodorant, headphones, IPOD, Pre-workout, gloves, journal, post shake.


To me, the most important is my headphones only because when I plug them in to my ears…. I go to my OWN WORLD and I’M ON TOP OF IT! Music gets me PUMPED and PSYCHED and I can FOCUS on my WORKOUT. This way I have absolutely NO DISTRACTIONS!


At the end of my workout I’m drenched and my body parts feel like noodles… but ahhhhh how I LOVE that feeling. One more time I have defeated exhaustion and I will continue to kick its ASS, whenever it decides to come back! AND YOU CAN TOO!


So on those days you feel that fatigue coming… nip it in the butt… Get to the gym where you can sweat like a pig to look like a fox!
