Fit, Fun and 21! Journal 2: Having Your Cake, and Eating Some Too
During my prep for Jr. Nationals, just 12 days before I was hitting the stage, I turned 21 years old. Needless to say I definitely traded dinner, bars, and ripping shots, for leg day, cardio, and an egg white soufflé. Many of the people I know were dumbfounded by this decision and couldn’t understand why I couldn’t let go for “just one day.” But as many of us are, we’re committed to what we do and we stick to it! BUT I want to focus right now on knowing when you can relax a bit and find a balance for yourself.

“We are so often caught up in our destination that we forget to appreciate the journey, especially the goodness of the people we meet on the way. Appreciation is a wonderful feeling, don’t overlook it.” - Unknown Source
I had a great trip to Toronto. I placed 6th, but was the first American. I was much happier with the package I presented in Toronto versus New York, but still have some improvements to make in my physique and posing. The best part of the trip were the people and the experiences I got to share with them. The two biggest highlights were walking on the edge of the CN Tower with my friend Derek and Gillian Kovack and getting to spend time with an individual that has provided great inspiration for me over this past year, Brian Smith.

This past week has been busy with our two projects finally starting to come together. As many of you have realized, I have taken this year off from competing in order to focus completely on my business with my partner/husband. We have two new ventures in the works that will launch in July/August.
Fit! Fun! And 21!!! Journal 1: Balance
My name is Darrian Tissenbaum and I’m a 21-year-old IFBB fitness pro from Pittsburgh, PA. Choosing a healthy, fit lifestyle at any age comes with its fair share of challenges, but choosing it at a younger age, when most of my friends hit the bar for drinks instead of the barbell, leaves me with a few different issues. You’ll learn more about me week by week, but in this first blog I’d like to talk about balance.

Hello everyone! I hope your summer is going well. As for me I can’t believe it is almost July. Pretty soon we all will be watching the 4th of July fireworks and barbequing asparagus, chicken breast, and maybe for some, even yams.
Helle Hits Hartford!
Hi friends, fans, supporters of our beloved sport!
Just a quick hello here from Portland. I'm currently staying with my coach Noel Fuller. We are working on presenting a new and improved package at the Europa Battle of Champions June 29-30. I'm very very excited. I've been working very hard on improving my physique ever since my disappointing 14th place finish at the Olympia last year.

In fitness, as in life, it is so important to have an 'idea' of what would make you happy, and to work towards that. My goal going into the Toronto Pro Supershow this past weekend was to make the top 5 -- and not only did I meet that goal, but there was only a 1 point differential between 3rd, 4th and 5th place -- whohoo! After a baker's dozen '13th' placing last year In Toronto, I was more than happy to take home 5th place, along with another point towards the Olympia Qualification Series (I am currently tied for 4th overall), and a fabulous weekend of memories :-)

WoooooHooooo!!! Yes this week was that good! My husband surprised me when we went to Las Vegas on a trip to Area 51 and the Black mailbox. It was an alien tour that hit all of the Hot Spots. It was fun to watch everyone geek-out all X-Files style. You all remember The X-Files, Right?

Tiffany Robinson IFBB Fitness Pro: Journal #4: Lunch Box
This past weekend I was in a dear friend’s wedding and we all know that when you are a part of the bridal party the events last all weekend long! So before I made the drive to my home town Opelika, Alabama, I made sure my food was prepped to last me throughout the weekend!
Danielle Destroys the Road To The Pittsburgh Pro: Pittsburgh Reflections
Pittsburgh! It was a huge show. About 300 competitors and jam packed with high caliber contestants.
Going into this show I wanted to improve my score in the routine round. Instead of just one song I had three mixed. I did this to make things more dynamic and interesting. So with my new music Ihad to come up with a new routine. Idid make up with a new routine but only two weeks ago due to the fact thatgetting the music cut took longer than I anticipated.

Our minds are mysterious and make us unique from one another. You hear and read so much about diet and exercise, but we really should focus more on training our minds as that is were change begins and ends. Our mind controls all aspects of our lives. Our mind controls how we feel, our attitude, our responses to different situations, how hard we exercise, how much we eat, what we crave,, even how long it takes us to recover. In the last year I have become aware of just how our mind is what truly guides us through life. We focus so much on the physical aspect but it’s really our mind that leads the way.

Spring is here and so is competition season -- love it! Just in time for crocuses, outdoor workouts, and patio lunches, my time spent training is ramped to 100%, and combined with full time work and attempting to have a home life, I am one busy girl!
Tiffany Robinson IFBB Fitness Pro: Just Believe: Journal #3
People tend to use the phrase of “Just Believe” a ton. There’s also “Dream big”, “If you can Dream it you can Achieve it”, and so forth. So do YOU believe in these phrases?
I live life day to day by motivational and inspirational quotes and sometimes I have to remind myself to be patient that good things will come from my hard work. So where am I going with this?? I wanted to share with you my weekend at the Orlando Europa Expo and what all occurred during two days!

Wow, it’s amazing how fast two weeks goes by. Only 4 weeks until I’m on stage again!! I’m so excited for the NY Pro on May 19th. I’ll be competing in Women’s Physique and this time I’ll be prepared! The competition is at the Tribeca, the same venue I made my Pro Fitness debut in which I qualified for the Olympia last year. I have such fond memories of that competition and they weren’t all on stage. My family including: mom, mom-mom, great aunt, brothers, sister-in-law and long time friends Stacey and Kevin were in attendance. Having them there and getting to spend time with them after the competition was priceless.
Tiffany Robinson IFBB Fitness Pro: Working Out When I Feel Exhausted: Journal #2
Hey Everyone!!! So this week I experienced some major exhaustion. Who knows why… It could have been the drastic change in diet, the overload at work, the stress of not having enough hours in the day, being tight on funds, family situations, or just the fact that rain was in the forecast, but none the less I was just damn tired..LOL
Danielle Destroys The Road To The Pittsburgh Pro
So I am preparing for my third Pro show to date, The Pittsburgh Pro. At less than two weeks out I am feeling good, relatively speaking... haha! At this point before shows I usually feel a bit of brain fuzziness, fatigue and moodiness. Ah, the joys! It is during these times that I remind myself that it is not forever that I will feel this way and it’s usually a good sign that I am on track.
