The women's Bodybuilding division at this year's PBW Tampa Pro Championships was HUGE. How big was it? How about the second largest IFBB pro women's bodybuilding contest ever. Thirty competitors made their way to Florida for this August 9-10 weekend to compete in the final qualifier for the upcoming Ms. Olympia in late September.

A total of 10 IFBB Women's Physique division qualifiers were scheduled this year with the winners of each earning an invitation to the inaugural Olympia Women’s Physique Showdown in Las Vegas next month. So it was of little surprise that the PBW Tampa Pro Championships (the ninth of the 10 qualifying events) would draw considerable interest from aspiring Women’s Physique division competitors.

Chicago, Illinois, July 6: Promoter Tim Gardner staged his second annual Wings of Strength, this time at the Tinley Park Convention Center and the women's bodybuilding and women's physique divisions were once again very competitive with 15 bodybuilding contestants competing for a qualifying spot in the Ms. Olympia, while 23 competitors flexed for a qualifying position in the inaugural Ms. Olympia Physique Showdown.
