#Believe - You're Both Full Of It

If you wTitleant the truth in bodybuilding, RxMuscle.com is the place to be. I've enjoyed considerable fanfare from my article "Kai's Behavior is Unacceptable." I stand by the fact that the Mr. Olympia is the most important and most respected competition in our sport. For forty-nine years, all of the athletes displayed great respect for its legacy and its integrity. Kai Greene, acting either alone or in cahoots with his guru George Farah, made a mockery of the event, its history, and its future. When NBC airs the footage, the chaos will undeniably hurt the sport and fuel the efforts of its opponents in mainstream culture.

In his article "Greene & Heath's Fight Was Not Bad For Bodybuilding," writer Anders J. Eskilsson is clearly grasping at straws for some kind of a rationalization that, unfortunately for him, simply does not exist. His comparisons to ice hockey and tennis do very little to convince me. "To say that brawls are common in hockey, so they should be excused in Bodybuilding is innocently naive." One is a physique based competition, and the other a full-contact sport. Later he talks about a tennis star smashing rackets...On the flip side, the article focuses on Kai's hardships growing up, Anders calls him a "lonely kid," and in one portion even states that "Phil is married with a family," while "Kai is still looking for love..." Lol. I mean what the fuck is that? What does ANY of that have to do with last weekend's fiasco? And how can he even call that bizarre handshake that we all know was about as real as a three dollar bill "good sportsmanship" on Kai's behalf? Are you kidding me right now? Am I on candid camera?

Let's be real here. I know people that know Phil - there is no way Phil was in cahoots with Kai or George Farah. That's utter nonsense, and I know we'll eventually hear from Phil and Hany because they will eventually have to address this. I think George is BANKING on their silence. If they never speak on the issue, just maybe, this farse will hold. Let's take a moment to dissect "the Pro Maker" George Farah's post-Olympia interview with Shawn Ray of Muscular Development. Hopefully they won't pull the video from under us, but if they do, I'll include some of the dialogue. Let's begin shall we?

SR: It has to be bittersweet because Kai did come out of the box boxing...
GF: Well it's not about coming out of the box boxing. Everybody is telling [Kai] we want you aggressive, now he's finally aggressive and we all know it's all fake.
SR: Yeah
GF: I mean you see them, they're hugging (camera didn't show that), Phil, there is no problem there. We're all like family, me, Hany, Phil, all of us. The only problem is people out there watching - it doesn't look good, but to me it actually looks good, it's 2014. Look at Kim Kardashian, how her whole career started, and now she's the most talked about woman in the…
SR: So do you think any of the antics hurt what the Judges judged him (Kai) as?
GF: Maybe the Judges, because they didn't really know about it, they might have got pissed "why is he doing this?"... OF COURSE HE GOT MARKED DOWN. This I think we saw one of the best Kai Greene and... I'm a little disappointed. I'm really sad because I live for my guys, you know? But it is what it is.

Some Quick Points

#1 Did any of that make ANY sFarahRayInterviewense? You want to talk about promoting bodybuilding? AMI/Weider ALREADY had the NBC deal - more press than any other O in decades! The IFBB doesn't need Kai to go off the reservation to bring ratings. How did Kim Kardashian get so popular? She made a porno. I don't think the IFBB wants the kind of press Farrah thinks is so great - brawls and disruptions at an event known for its order and consistency.

#2 Why would Phil be a part of something that would potentially cause him to lose points? What did he have to gain? And... do you think he'd use the memory of his father to make the story more believable? Do you people really believe that shit? He dedicated last year's Olympia to his wife who survived breast cancer. These dedications are REAL and there's no way Phil was acting.

#3 Why would Kai - the perennial bridesmaid agree to be the villain, lose points and lose yet another Olympia? DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?!?!

#4 Assuming Phil was in on the action, did they rehearse? Was there a script? If so, who wrote it? How were they able to perform better at the Olympia than on Generation Iron. The "acting" was INCREDIBLY BELIEVABLE! Do you people really believe that because Phil shook Kai's hand that it was somehow code for "a job well done?"

#5 MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL - FARRAH OPENLY ADMITS THAT THE JUDGES DID NOT KNOW. The head judge screaming for Kai to back off - THAT WAS REAL. The expediter PHYSICALLY trying to separate the two - THAT WAS REAL. George Farrah openly states that NO ONE besides him, Kai, ALLEGEDLY Phil, and possibly Hany knew about this. THAT IS RIDICULOUS.
