Find Your Why!

ItIt's Not Enough... happens to all of us, no matter who we are; the feeling as if we are going through the motions. Those times when we’re not quite sure why we are doing what we are doing, and instead of acknowledging just how far we have come, we dwell on how far we have to go. During these times one of the most important things we can do is to find our Why!

Our Why is one of the most important things that we all have. It is the deep-seeded reason for what we do in our lives and what keeps us going when things get tough! However if we do not have a strong enough Why, we will lack the motivation to keep us moving forward. Our Why must be something that we are highly attached to and willing to protect at all costs!'

By having a strong Why, we are able to get through anything as long as we remember to fall back on this source of motivation and not become so focused on what lies ahead. You see, by focusing on Why we started in the first place and how far we have come it gives us the strength and confidence to move forward and, conversely, by solely setting our sights on what lies ahead there’s the potential to become overwhelmed.

We may think we will never reach our ultimate goal and thus never begin in the first place. Often we’ll use the excuse, “It just isn’t the right time.” Well, that right there, is the difference between successful people and those who habitually make excuses!

Successful people realize that there will NEVER be a perfect time and by waiting all we do is dull our real and true potential. Successful people, by contrast, truly make it happen!

Our Whys must be something that we are truly emotionally attached to, not an inconsequential want, but rather something that is so important to us that it becomes a necessary part of our very existence!

Remember that life is meant to be simple. That doesn’t mean we won’t be met with adversity, but instead turn adversity – your stress – into a motivating strength! Nearly 100% of what we worry about we cannot control and, most often, never happens. By worrying about things we cannot control, it only drains us of our peace, happiness, and energy. Instead focus on what you can do right now and acknowledge that things will get hard from time to time and welcome those hardships as positive challenges and lessons, which will make you stronger in the process!

The next time you come to the crossroads of packing it in or pushing on, remember just why you started in the first place, remember how you felt surging with excitement to move forward or remember the harsh events that lead you to feel as though it absolutely necessary to change for the better.

If your Why is truly powerful to you it is enough to get you through anything, no matter what the challenge may be!

“He who has a why to live can bear almost any how.” – Friedrich Nietzsche

Thank You to ALL who take the time to read my words. If they are able to help just one person, then I am that much closer to my goal!
