What are your thoughts on the Men's Physique Division?
I think this division is going to become very popular very fast. I think the sport of Physique is going to attract many different athletes from different athletic backgrounds.
Hometown: Boynton Beach, Florida
Current city: Boynton Beach, Florida
10 years of training and 2 years of competition level training.
CPT, USC Business Admin.
Occupation: Personal Trainer
Favorite type of training: I love using the Drop Set Method for lifting and HIIT for Cardio which my body responds very well to.
Favorite body part to train: Chest and Back, I do these on the same day. I will do 45 min chest take a quick break to eat a little and go on to complete the 45 min back workout.
Favorite exercise: Chest Fly
Rep range: 6-12
Number of sets: 10-18 per bodypart
Typical workout duration: 75 minutes
Training split: I found that a 10 day training split works the best for me as far as recovery and working on weaknesses. So I will train each body part twice within 10 days.
Typical daily eating plan:
I eat a lot of pnut butter for fuel, minimum of 32 ounces of white meat, protein shakes, vegetables, complex carbs such as wheat bread and even wheat curst cheese pizza during bulking periods.
Favorite supplement: Kre-Alkalyn by EFX (Best Creatine)
What peaked your interest in training?
I was always involved in sports and trained with weights in the past. The interesting thing was that I always enjoyed the weight lifting part of the training more than the sports themselves.
Who influences/influenced your training?
My wife is a big support and influence on my training and diet, and most my friends at the gym give me a great deal of motivation and support. Also my parents are always there to support me.
