This could be big; even huge! The real Cedric McMillan-- the one everyone wants to see will show up at Steve Weinberger’s IFBB NY PRO on May 19th-- is locked and ready for battle. As of today (Monday, May 7), he has officially decided to jump into the show.
The soft-spoken McMillan has been quietly flying under the radar all year long adding size, enhancing
his shape, and readying himself for the 2012 IFBB season. With no dead-certain show in mind McMillan,
currently tipping the scale at 271 pounds, caved in to my nagging that no bodybuilding contest outside of the Arnold
and Olympia are as established and prestigious as New Yorks premiere contest.
The busy father-husband-Army guy truly had no specific contest in mind up until 3 weeks ago when he started
pushing his diet harder and things really started falling into place. Last week, when I mentioned the NY Pro,
Cedric thought I was joking. This week he made the decision to, officially, enter. I could have attempted to
scrounge up the typical bodybuilder pre-contest quote from him, “ I'm in the best shape of my life”, but I, instead, believed that the accompanying exclusive photo would fit the bill just fine!
