"Prosville" is my new name for Bev and Steve's Powerhouse gym in Syosset, NY. Just like when Motown records was called "Hittsville" in the 60s because of all the hits they were producing, the same can be said for Bev's Gym because of all the pros they have walking in and out of their doors.

This "East Coast Mecca" crap is played out. There was only one Mecca and that was on the west coast and that was a long time ago. It's time for something new and Bev and Steve deserve their own auspicious title - not some warmed over version of something old and contrived. So, from now on I'm calling their old school, hardcore, gym. . . Prosville. I mean come one, just look at who you can see wandering around in there on any given day. Just the other day Dave was in there and ran into IFBB Pro Eugene Mishin and IFBB Pro Vinny Galanti talking shop, and then standing at the front desk newly crowned IFBB pro Guy Cisternino hamming it up with 2009 Ms Figure International Champion, Ziville Raudoniene and 2008 New York Pro 202 Champ, Kevin English. It's like this any day of the week; and it's safe to say that on any given day Bev and Steve's gym is where you'll find more IFBB pros than any other place on Earth. Prosville all the way baby!
